About Blair

Hi! I’m Blair, and welcome to Baked by Blair, a gluten-free home bakery built from both necessity and love.

For most of my life, eating felt stressful, uncomfortable, and overwhelming. I struggled with stomach issues for years, and when I finally tried going gluten-free, I felt a million times better. But getting there wasn’t easy. Switching to unfamiliar foods with different textures, flavors, and ingredient lists was a sensory nightmare, and I constantly felt intimidated and discouraged.

For a long time, eating became something I did just to stay alive. I avoided food, stuck to the smallest list of “safe” items, and lost all the joy that comes with sharing a dessert or enjoying something special with people you love.

Things slowly changed when I started learning how to recreate gluten-free versions of the foods I missed the most, especially baked goods. Reclaiming those treats felt like reclaiming joy. It reminded me how meaningful it is to have a seat at the table where you don’t feel singled out, limited, or “different” because of what you can or can’t eat.

That’s why I started Baked by Blair. It isn’t a gluten-free bakery, it’s a bakery that just so happens that everything is gluten-free. Whether you eat this way out of necessity or preference (or not at all!), I want you to feel welcome, seen, and excited to try something that tastes as good as it looks. Everyone deserves dessert.
